College.... college... COLLEGE

So i just realized as I was lying in bed last night that this is real. I really am going to college. I really am started a life out on my own in the big scary world that I'm going to find out I know nothing about! I am going to do my own laundry and be accountable for myself and actually try to become organized!!

Here goes nothing.

I move in in 9 days. 9 days that I have to spend all the time I have available with my baby eva and my family and friends because I'm not going to see them again for TWO MONTHS!

What a day for bubbles!

This is the end..

So as the HUGE buzz recently has been.. It's been reported that today was the end of the world, supposedly. Well, as we all know, God does not work on our schedules and according to when WE predict or when WE say the end will come! He alone knows the day and the hour. And I praise the Lord for this!! We should all live like today is the day he comes no matter what! This really hit me hard today as I was thinking about what I would do if I actually believed today was the end.

Ok, anyways!

..it is the end of the world as the Southard and Keith family formerly knew it!! :) Baby Evalynn Rose arrive May 20th at 9:30 Pm!! What an exciting change for us all!!! :D We are so very excited that she has arrived! So in honor of this new bundle of joy and new soul to teach of the saving work of Christ, here come lot's of pictures!!

More pictures coming soon! We're going to have official newborn pictures when she arrives home sometime next week :)

Shoes.

Okay, I have wanted a pair of saddle shoes for a very VERY long time now!! And I think today is going to be my lucky day because I just know that I'll find a pair for cheap. Any ways, if you have absolutely no clue what I mean by saddle shoes, Here is a picture to clarify your mind! :)

Butterflies and sunshine!

Happy Easter everyone! I cannot express how amazed and overwhelmed I am whenever I think about what my Lord Jesus has done for me. He was despised and reject among men, AND the wrath of God was poured out on him. He was human, just like you and me! And yet endured such pain and suffering in order to obey and glorify his Father. But after his painful and heartbreaking crucifixion, he rose again!! What an awesome ending to a plan that was put into place from the beginning of time. It fulfilled everything that needed to be fulfilled and showed God's glory in the most awesome and glorious way imaginable!
Praise the Lord who is God and King!

Thrifty Thursday

So I'm going to make it my goal to post every Thursday about a new item I have found or made for an outrageous, cheap price! My friend Faith ( A penny for my thoughts blog) and I are officially thriffting buddies so don't be surprised if she pops up on here quite a bit! She actually took this photo of me! But my item for this week is the belt that I have on. Pretty unique annddd only $2 :D That's what I call a fantastic bargain.

Lightning and TOMS! The perfect combination.

Soo tonight we have a major storm in the area and I'm loving it!! But before the storm, I took a picture of my fantastic TOM shoes in the sunny spring weather. BUT THEN THE STORM STRUCK! And I waited and waited... and waited. To get a picture of lightning! And finally after 30+ minutes, I suceeded. :)

Projects!

So the top picture is a bracelet that I made out of leather and lace and pearl. It's not my fav but hey! It didn't turn out too bad. The other two images of the flowers with lace is a necklace/ hippie band! I don't think I'll ever be able to actually pull it off as a hippy band but I LOVE it as a necklace! Tell me what ya think! (:

Gurgling Giggles

Happy Spring! That means that summer is not far away. And you know what that means?? Swimming and sunshine, and ice cold lemonade, and the beach!! My best friend, Jessica and I are going to Florida after graduation and I am so excited! Long walks on the beach, thrilling adventures at theme parks, and firework watching here we come! Florida, be ready. :) Until then though, I must endure the cold and snowy (yes! SNOW!) weather of Missouri. It just makes me giggle thinking about the silly bi-polar weather mother nature has!
So I've been thinking about the homeschool formal quite a lot lately. Trying to figure out my dress and accessories and everything that goes with! It's quite fun actually. This is my last prom! Kind of sad.. but I want to go out with a KA-BANG! Pictures will be posted in April of prom and the Ka bang previously spoken of.
Moving on!
This week I am going to go to a pawn shop! That's right, first time ever.. I'm excited. I've been putting it off but I've finally gotten the guts and am going to walk right in and look like I own the place and know exactly what I'm doing! Wish me luck. (:

Once upon a beautiful snowflake day. . .

Today in Missouri, we got 8 inches of snow!!!! And it's still coming down strong. :) So, having not started school yet and having no where to go in this monstrous storm of whirling storm, what did I spend my day doing? Taking pictures, sleeping, and studying God's word! It's the life. My sister Mindy is pregnant and guess what? IT'S A GIRL!!!! We just found out last Wednesday and we (especially me) are so excited!! She is going to be the cutest blonde baby girl ever. I cannot wait!
